How pressure conversion works
Omnivaro converts the source value to pascals first, then converts that pascal value to the selected target pressure unit.
Pascals = Value × source unit pascal factor
Result = Pascals ÷ target unit pascal factor
Pressure units use different scale factors relative to the pascal. For example, 1 bar = 100,000 Pa and 1 atmosphere = 101,325 Pa. Torr and mmHg are kept as distinct units because their conversion factors are close but not identical.
